Roccalumera is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Messina in the Italian region Sicily, located about 180 km east of Palermo and about 25 km southwest of Messina. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,145 and an area of 8.8 km².[1]
The municipality of Roccalumera contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Allume and Sciglio.
Roccalumera borders the following municipalities: Fiumedinisi, Furci Siculo, Mandanici, Nizza di Sicilia, Pagliara.
