Game Description

Now you can have 100 action-packed arcade-style games on your PC with Global Software's 100 Action Arcade Games Volume 2. Prowl the desolated streets of Duke Nukem 3D. Chomp up the power pellets and avoid the ghosts in Pac-Man. Fight invaders from another world in Galaxi. Race dirt bikes in Action SuperCross.

This compilation is jam-packed with demo and shareware versions of various games. Depending on the creator's wishes, some may be limited versions that require payment to get the full game while others are complete and ask you to send a small amount of money if you enjoy it. Many of the games were created by amateur programmers who wanted to create, for example, their own Pac-Man-style game.

There are a few demo versions of well-known games such as Duke Nukem 3D and Rise of the Triad thrown in to sweeten the deal. In the installation program you can view information about each game and see a screenshot before installing it; many of the games also have online instruction manuals to assist you.

Roots & Influences

This is the second in Global Software's compilation of Arcade-style games; there are three in the series. Many of the games are shareware and are based on well-known titles. For example, Galaxi is a shareware version of Galaxian while PC Pac-Man is a shareware version of Pac-Man.
