108 artist
108 (b. 1978) in Alessandria, his hometown, [1] is one of the most original Italian artists in the field of Street Art, 108 has moved from working in traditional graffiti art to painting large and mysterious figures that invade public spaces[2]. He was one of the first writers to use numbers instead of letters for his name[3]. He started to works when he was a kid on the streets of [[Alessandriawith different names. Slowly he attack and he leave his signs around the streets of Milano, Paris, London, Berlin, New York... Referenced by some of the best new italian graffiti artists,[4] this innovative, evolving artist is one of the pioners of the so called italian “street art” scene. His firsts works known by people are enigmatic “blob”-like yellow shapes and it’s his strong intention to make visual chaos. His new works are labyrinths, dead trees, 3D objects and installations but expecially black and gloomy shapes[5]. In the last years he took part in a lot of international exhibitions (Nusign 2.4 in Paris[6], Urban Edge Show in Milano[7], Segundo and Tercer Asalto in Zaragoza[8] and in 2007 he was invited to join the project called Walls[9] inside the Biennale di Venezia.
