The 1890 Pittsburg Alleghenys season was a season in American baseball. The team finished eighth and last in the National League with a record of 23-113, 66.5 games behind the Brooklyn Bridegrooms. The 113 losses by the Alleghenys set a new major league record, breaking the old record of 111 set the previous year by the Louisville Colonels. The record would stand until 1899, when the Cleveland Spiders lost 134 games, the all-time record.
