1915 Asmara earthquake

The 1915 Asmara Earthquake was a seismic movement that took place outside Asmara, Eritrea on 1915-09-23. Seismic details of the event were not recorded (prior to the installation of seismic equipment).[1] The event did however cause panic among the inhabitants and slight damage. The earthquake is described by experts as being of relatively large magnitude.[2]
