The 1970 Torneio Roberto Gomes Pedrosa, commonly known as Robertão, was the 14th season of the Brazilian top-level of professional football and the 4th and last season of the Torneio Roberto Gomes Pedrosa, which at the time was equivalent to the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A and recognized by CBF today as one Brazilian Série A title. It began on September 20 and ended on December 20. Palmeiras came as the defending champion having won the 1969 season and Fluminense won the championship, the first in the history of the club.
