The 1984 Brazilian Grand Prix was a Formula One motor race held at the Jacarepaguá Circuit in Rio de Janeiro on March 25, 1984. It was the first round of the 1984 Formula One season. Derek Warwick led the race until a late suspension failure gave Alain Prost the win in his first race for McLaren.
