The 1991-92 Miami Heat season was Miami's fourth season in the NBA. The Heat had a new coach in Kevin Loughery. As the new coach, Loughery would help the Heat reach the postseason. The franchise sneaked into the playoffs on the final day of the season by finishing in 4th place with a 38-44 record. The Heat were very successful at home as they posted a 28-13 record at Miami Arena.[1] Glen Rice led the way with 22.3 points per game.[1]
