The table below shows the 1992 European Tour schedule which was made up of 38 tournaments, which included the major national opens around Europe. There were several changes from the previous season, with the return of the Dubai Desert Classic and the Tenerife Open, the addition of the Johnnie Walker Asian Classic, the Turespana Masters, the Roma Masters, the Lyon Open V33 and the Honda Open, and the loss of the Girona Open, the Murphy's Cup, the European Pro-Celebrity and the Epson Grand Prix of Europe.
The PGA European Tour's money list was known as the "Volvo Order of Merit". It was based on prize money earned during the season and calculated in Pound sterling.[1]
