The 1994–95 New York Knicks season was the 49th season for the team in the National Basketball Association (NBA). In the regular season, the Knicks posted a 55–27 record in the Atlantic Division and finished in second place, two games behind the Orlando Magic. By earning the third seed in the Eastern Conference,[1] New York qualified for the NBA Playoffs for the eighth consecutive season.[2]
In the first round of the 1995 NBA Playoffs, the Knicks faced the sixth-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers, and won the series three games to one, advancing to the conference semifinals. The Knicks lost the series to the Indiana Pacers, 4–3.[1]
