- February 23: With 3 seconds left, Bal David converted on a long trey at the buzzer as he dribbled past midcourt lifting the Boars to a thrilling 83-81 win over San Miguel Beer.
- March 18: Start of the second round of eliminations in the All-Filipino Cup, Gordon's Gin pushed their record to 7-1, following a 99-97 win over Sta.Lucia Realtors.
- April 1: Marlou Aquino scored a career-high 33 points in Boars' 111-109 overtime win over Pop Cola Bottlers.
- April 29: Gordon's Gin clinch its 13th win in 19 games, defeating San Miguel Beer, 98-94, the Boars are assured of a playoff for a finals berth.
- August 24: Playoff match for the 2nd finals berth of the PBA Commissioners Cup, the Boars outlasted San Miguel Beer, in two overtimes, 106-100, for their third straight finals appearance.
