The 1999 Purefoods Tender Juicy Hotdogs season is the 12th season of the franchise in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).

• Jerry Codinera, one of the only two remaining originals of the Purefoods team was traded to Mobiline for Andy Seigle during the Commissioners Cup eliminations, ending an 11-year partnership with main man Alvin Patrimonio, their tandem led the Hotdogs to 9 out of 11 trips to the All-Filipino finals.

Season Recap

• Purefoods Tender Juicy Hotdogs went crownless for the second straight season, were eliminated twice during the Quarterfinals, In the All-Filipino Cup by Alaska Milk, and in the Commissioner's Cup by Formula Shell.
• In the Governor's Cup, with import Derrick Brown, Purefoods was the top seed after a one-round elimination with a 7-1 card, finally make it to the semis by defeating 8th-seeded Barangay Ginebra Kings, lost by a 3-0 sweep to Alaska Milk in the best-of-five semifinals and settled for 4th place.
