This package contains two previously released Game Boy Advance games, based on two Spider-Man films: Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2.
Spider-Man has players swinging through the streets of New York City on the lookout for arch-nemesis Green Goblin. Spidey will encounter Shocker, Vulture, and various robotic threats from Oscorp Industries based on situations from the movie as well as original encounters created specifically for the game. Spider-Man will once again be able to use his webbing, fists, and legs to subdue enemies, but the web-slinger has all-new combination attacks to help him survive long enough to face Green Goblin.
Spider-Man 2 has the fabled web-slinger scrolling through a Manhattan rife with criminals. In addition to the thugs and lizards that seem to be threatening the good people of New York at every turn, a number of infamous Marvel super-villains cameo as end-level boss characters. Mysterio, Hobgoblin, and Rhino each take a turn at challenging Spidey as he makes his way toward a final confrontation with arch-nemesis Doctor Octopus. Luckily, Spider-Man is armed with powerful punches, refillable webbing, and an invaluable "Spider-Sense" that alerts him to impending danger. An info bar at the bottom of the screen displays the hero's current health status and web-fluid levels. This movie-based Spider-Man 2 was developed by Vicarious Visions, the same studio that crafted the GBA's 2001 Spider-Man game, Mysterio's Menace.
