Steve Robson's Jean Jacques Smoothie alias made his mark throughout his residences in Spain and Wales and the Radio 1 A-listing of his Parisian house-blush "2 People." To be fair, the song is rewarding with its mishmash of mid-career Underworld techno geometry and Minnie Ripperton-sampling disco tempo shifts, but even with Mirwais and Moloko both chipping in remixes, it's still no better than most Thomas Bangalter throwaways. ~ Dean Carlson, Rovi
