As a member of the burgeoning league of year-round soca musicians, KMC (Ken Marlon Charles) knows what it takes to capture the high intensity vibe of carnival: incessant rhythms and lots of energy. 2000 Pieces of KMC does a good job of this, from the contagious riddim of "2000 Carnival" to the hip-winding spell cast by "Brass Anthem 2000," which features the hot soca upstart Machel Montano.
