Plot

The video chronicles the 2000 Tour de France and the victory of cyclist Lance Armstrong in the 1999 Tour. An accomplished cyclist, Armstrong's career was almost tragically cut short by a devastating bout of cancer that spread to his lungs and brain. His chances of survival were given as 50/50. But he returned to cycling to dominate the 1999 Tour de France, and then to win again in 2000. Highlights include Armstrong's performance in the Pyrenees, where the Texan lead the field in bitter rain and fog.
