The 2001–02 New York Knicks season was the 56th season for the team in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Knicks had a 30–52 record in the 2001–02 season, and finished in last place in the Atlantic Division.[1] New York missed the NBA Playoffs for the first time in 15 seasons.[2]
