Ford 200

The Ford 200 was held November 14 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Bobby Hamilton won the pole.

This race saw the possibility of any one of the series' four top drivers in the points standings (Brendan Gaughan, Ted Musgrave, Travis Kvapil, or Dennis Setzer) being able to win the series championship. Points leader Gaughan crashed out of the race late and lost the championship as a result; Musgrave was black flagged for trying to pass Kvapil before a restart, and Setzer struggled most of the day before finishing seventh. The results of the race were not made official right away, as NASCAR reviewed whether or not Musgrave's penalty was warranted (the rescinding of which would have given Musgrave, second in points going into the race and points leader after Gaughan's accident, enough points to hold off Kvapil for the title). After the review concluded, the black flag stood and Kvapil was the 2003 CTS champion.
