The 2007–08 Seattle SuperSonics season was their 41st season in the NBA, and the franchise's final season of play in Seattle, Washington before relocating to Oklahoma City to play as the Thunder. They finished the season with 20 wins and last place in the Western Conference.

On July 3, 2007, it was reported that P. J. Carlesimo will be introduced as the new head coach of the Seattle SuperSonics in a scheduled news conference to be held by the team on July 5.[1]
