The 2008 French Open will be held from 25 May through 8 June, 2008 in Paris, France. It is one of the four Major Grand Slams of tennis.
If Justine Henin successfully defends her trophy she will become the only woman in the open era to have won four consecutive French Open titles (currently, she shares the record of three with Monica Seles). Rafael Nadal can also equal Björn Borg's record of four consecutive titles in the open era.
