The 2011-12 Cleveland Cavaliers season was the 42nd season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Cleveland finished the regular season with a 21–45 record, a slight improvement over their previous season, and finished in 13th place in the Eastern Conference. Rookie point guard and first overal draft selection Kyrie Irving won the NBA Rookie of the Year Award at the end of the season.
