The 2012 World Series will be the 108th edition of Major League Baseball's championship series. The best-of-seven playoff will be played between the champions of the National League and the American League.
As has been standard since 2003, home field advantage for the series will be decided on July 10 at the All-Star Game to be held in Kansas City, Missouri. The games will be televised in the USA on Fox.
The 2012 World Series will begin with Game 1 on Wednesday October 24. The schedule for the remainder of the series has not been announced.
