The 2014 FIL World Lacrosse Championship will be held in Denver, Colorado from July 10 to 19 at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.^[1] Up to 38 nations are anticipated to compete, as opposed to the 29 who participated in the 2010 Championships in Manchester, England.

The World Lacrosse Championships are sanctioned by the Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL), with the first event staged in 1967. The 2014 Championships will be their 12th edition.
