The 207th Street Yard is a rail yard of the New York City Subway system. It is located in Northern Manhattan on the Harlem River north of the University Heights Bridge. It serves as the home depot for the R32s, which are assigned to the A and C.
The 207th Street Shop is one of two heavy overhaul shops in the NYCT system and provides for the overhaul and rebuilding of most IRT division cars as well as a significant minority of B Division rolling stock.
It is also used to store cars designated for the New York Transit Museum as well as those that are being retired or awaiting scrapping.
Connecting tracks lead south of the yard to the IND Eighth Avenue Line. A separate connecting track and flyover leads to the IRT Broadway – Seventh Avenue Line.
