This Rey Ruiz collection receives the ultimate treatment in salsa mixes; the odd thing is that it is a way of masquerading something that is repeatedly and endlessly heard. The fans might enjoy it, but it emerges only as a curiosity and not much else. The interesting notion is that the Sony catalog seems to be bankable enough in that this material is overly ubiquitous, no matter how diced and sliced it may turn out to be. ~ José A.
