23 Marina is a residential skyscraper that is currently under construction in Dubai and is being made by the Hiranandani Group based in Mumbai, India. The tower is set to have 89 floors and will rise to 395 m (1,296 feet). When this supertall is complete in 2009, it will be the world's second tallest all-residential building after the Princess Tower located a mere 300 m (1,000 feet) away.[2] The tower will have 57 swimming pools when completed, and each duplex in the tower will come equipped with its own private elevator.[2]
The building was 79 per cent sold before construction started.[3] The raft was completed on April 30, 2007.[4]
As of 28th August 2009, 53 floors have been completed.
