Plot

Palmer (Dennis Haysbert) is at CTU, demanding to see Jack (Kiefer Sutherland), and he won't take no for an answer. When Chappelle (Paul Schulze) tries to stonewall him, Palmer goes over his head. When he finally gets to see Jack, he accuses him of being part of the assassination plot. They soon realize that Drazen (Zeljko Ivanek) has targeted both of them for their part in the operation that killed his brother. Elizabeth (Kara Zediker) tells her lover, Alexis Drazen (Misha Collins), Palmer's itinerary, unaware that he's an assassin. At the safe house, Kimberly (Elisha Cuthbert) finds out that Teri (Leslie Hope) is pregnant, and momentarily gets angry because she didn't know anything about it. Jack and Palmer contact Robert Ellis (Wade Andrew Williams), who implemented the Kosovo operation. Alexis promises Drazen, his brother, that Palmer will be dead by midnight. Ellis uses Milo's (Eric Balfour) password to pull up some files on Drazen, but there's some information missing. Nina (Sarah Clarke) starts debriefing Teri, but Teri interrupts her, and asks her directly if she's the person Jack saw when they were separated. Nina admits it was her, and reassures Teri that it was a brief affair. But Teri gets upset and stops the interview. Kim calls Rick (Daniel Bess) and implores him to turn himself in. He asks her to lie about his role in the kidnapping, and she does. Jack learns that Drazen's wife and daughter were inadvertently killed in the Kosovo operation, and realizes that Teri and Kim are still in danger. Palmer uses his influence to get Jack out of CTU custody and back on the case. But Ellis is interrupted before he can give them any more assistance. ~ Josh Ralske, All Movie Guide
