25 Studies for guitar, Op. 60

Wikipedia: 25 Studies for guitar, Op. 60 (Carcassi)

25 Studies, op.60 is a set of etudes for the classical guitar written by Matteo Carcassi. They serve as a bridge between the elementary and advanced intermediate stages of the discipline. They are based on simple harmonic structures and contain much of the fundamental elements upon which guitar technique rests (for example: arpeggios, slurs, barres etc).[1] Each study attends to the treatment of a particular technical challenge. Each etude also accustoms a pupil to various speeds (allegro, moderato, etc.) and the various positions on the guitar(3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th).
