Motown celebrated The Temptations' 25th anniversary by issuing a retrospective/anthology album complete with an eight-page booklet that offered more details about the group's accomplishments than the three-record Anthology had years earlier. It was also interesting as to what songs they included ("Cloud Nine," "Don't Look Back," "Papa Was A Rolling Stone," "Power," "My Girl," and "Since I Lost My Baby," among others) and excluded ("Girl Why You Wanna Make Me Blue," "Ball Of Confusion (That's What The World Is Today)," and "Way You Do The Things You Do"). They fleshed the set out with previously unreleased tracks, none of them surpassing prior Temptations hits. ~ Ron Wynn, Rovi
