Ö3 Austria Top 40 is the name of the official Austrian singles chart. Airdate is Friday on Hitradio Ö3. It contains the Austrian singles, ringtones and downloads chart. It premiered on 26 November 1968 and was presented by Ernst Grissemann.

Between 1968 and 2007, the names of the show were Disc Parade, Die Großen 10 von Ö3, Pop Shop, Hit wähl mit, Die Großen 10, Ö3 Top-30 and Ö3 Austria Top 40.

The first number-one single was Das ist die Frage aller Fragen by Cliff Richard. The most successful single is Candle in the Wind 1997 by Elton John. The most successful Austrian single is Anton aus Tirol by DJ Ötzi. It's also the song, which could stay among the Top 75 for the longest time. The ones with the most number-one-hits since 1980 are Rainhard Fendrich and Christina Stürmer.
