Review

3 Field Rotation compiles Fuxa's 7" singles that were released in 1994 and 1995 on small labels. This traces the group's development into a knob-twiddling ambient space-rock outfit with interesting ideas. While the album is interesting, the time limits of the 7" makes it more difficult for these songs to freely stretch out and unfold the way they should. In many cases these "songs" seem to end before they begin, but there are still some outstanding compositions that make this collection worthwhile. ~ Kembrew McLeod, All Music Guide
