Part of the British mystery series based on the books by Agatha Christie, Miss Marple: 4.50 From Paddington was first aired in 1987. When Mrs. Elspeth McGillicuddy (Mona Bruce) takes the train to visit her friend Miss Jane Marple (Joan Hickson), she witnesses a murder and reports it to the authorities. When the police fail to find neither a body nor a suspect, they begin to doubt her story.
