Greek philosopher Gorgias [b. Leontini, Sicily, 483 bce, d. 376 bce] flourishes. He is a nihilist who believes nothing exists. If it did exist, he maintains, we could not know it; and if we knew it, we could not tell anyone else about it. See also 450 bce Physics.
