The Alcatel-Lucent SAM ( Service Aware Manager) is a Java application which primarily manages 7x50 (7750 and 7450) range of core service routers and switches in a Computer Network which run the Timos operating system. It allows features such as Config Push, revision control, synchronous policy updates and alarm and alert monitoring services in realtime. It is tightly coupled with the Alcatel-Lucent 7x50 product range.
