5676 Voltaire is a main belt asteroid with an orbital period of 1430.7047683 days (3.92 years).[1]

The asteroid was discovered on September 9, 1986, by the Soviet astronomer Lyudmila Karachkina. It is named in honor of the eighteenth-century French philosopher Voltaire.[2]
