The 7.65x25mm Borchardt cartridge designed by Hugo Borchardt. It was the ammunition of the Borchardt C-93 pistol. This cartridge provided the basis for the 7.63x25mm Mauser cartridge, which has similar dimensions but a stronger powder charge. This cartridge was also the basis of the 7.65x21mm Parabellum, 7.62x25mm Tokarev and 9x19mm Parabellum cartridges.
