Plot

Well known for its status as one of the largest and most comlex aircrafts ever built -- and particularly famous for being among the first airborne modes of transportation to be electronically designed -- the Boeing 777 has earned a unique spot in aircraft history. This production hones in on the months leading up to the initial test flight, and features workers on the building crew (such as aircraft sealer Glenda Barnes), as well as 777 corporate figure Alan Mulally. Tensions mount as the ultimate success or failure of the 777 comes to a head, and Boeing's newly implemented philosophy ("no secrets, no rivalry") manifests itself within the Boeing team as well as among their customers and contractors. ~ Tracie Cooper, Rovi
