80S are ribosomes present in eukaryotes. Their small subunit is 40S and the large subunit is 60S.[1] Ribosomes present in eukaryotes differ from those found in prokaryote in many ways: they are larger, contain larger proteins as well as a larger number of proteins, and have four (instead of three) molecules of RNA.[2]
