Internet America is changing its "lines" of business. Traditionally a provider of dial-up Internet access and, to a lesser degree, of wire-line DSL broadband Internet access, the company is battling back against dwindling subscriber numbers by expanding its offering of wireless broadband Internet access. It offers installation and maintenance of the wireless networks from its three Texas operational centers in Corsicana, San Antonio, and Stafford (near Houston). It also has offices in Hillsboro and Weimar. The company, which began operating in 1995, has offered computer repair services but discontinued that unprofitable business.
