Some people fantasize about being a Stormtrooper for Halloween. Are you one of them? Being a Stormtrooper is tough, it takes a special kind of person. You have to be a clone of the famous bounty hunter, Jango Fett. Do not despair though because who would know who you really are when you're wearing that Stormtrooper outfit? That's right, you can make your own Stormtrooper costume and pass as a Stormtrooper for Halloween. You will probably get away with it too, because the dark side has already lost so the evil emperor won't be on the lookout for impersonators. For the armor, some use a big white PVC pipe for the arms and legs then saw the pipe in the correct length. You will need to measure the length from your ankle to below your knee then again from above your knee to your hip. Measure the length from your wrist to just before your elbow then again right above your elbow to your armpit. You will need corner PVC pipes for your shoulders but cut them in half so they can be placed on top of your shoulders. Sandpaper can be used to sand the edges of the pipes after they have been sawed off, to smooth out the edges. A black long sleeved shirt and pants are needed for the PVC pipes to be glued to. For the chest and back, you can use a cardboard and use plaster to add to the cardboard, making it look like a real armor. The last step for the armor is to paint it white. Be sure to not forget to wear white boots or shoes. Helmets will most likely have to be bought from a costume shop or if you want, you can go helmet-less and make up some kind of story about being like Han and Luke. You can tell everyone how you barely made it out alive from the Death Star and that you had left the helmet behind.
