Gjoub is a Ndonga (aka Oshiwambo, Otjiwambo, or Owambo a form of Bantu god.

The Namib Desert is a coastal desert in Southern Africa with a name that means "vast place. The cultures that live in this area include the Tswanas, Damara, San Bushmen, Kavango, Nama, Owambo, Himba, Herero, Baster, and the Caprivians.

Windhoek is the small capital city of Namibia’s Central Highlands. One visit to the area and it is easy to tell that its influence is drawn largely from German culture. The city serves as the heart of the Central Highlands region, and it is also the central hub for commercial activity in the area.
