Vanessa Blue is the stage name of an American pornographic actress and director.
Biography
Blue started porn in 1996 doing porn fetish movies. After a year, she took a three-year break, moving to Nebraska to be with her family.[3]
She worked for Mercenary Pictures between 2003 and 2006, and directed their Black Reign series, which won the 2005 AVN Award for Best Ethnic-Themed Series.[4] She was also engaged to Mercenary's owner, Lexington Steele.[4]. In 2008, Steele and Blue filed federal lawsuits against each other over the ownership of numerous videos that first appeared under the Mercenary Pictures label. The suits were settled in March 2009 after meeting with an alternative dispute resolution jurist[1].
Blue initially directed under the pseudonym Domina X, and has also been a contract director for Hustler.[2] Blue starred in Playboy TV’s Lex in the City and as of 2006 was a presenter on Playboy Radio.[4]
