Velvet Rose (born June 13, 1980 in McKinney, Texas, USA), is a pornographic actress.[1]
Rose excelled in foreign languages at school, and shortly after graduating from McKinney High School in 1998, she moved to Germany to attend college.[1] At age 19 she became an exotic dancer, performing in Germany and Austria during the first year, and then in Switzerland, Holland, Norway, Iceland, Japan, Dallas, Vancouver, Canada, and Guam. After living in Germany for four years, she returned the United States, and in April 2002 moved to Hollywood, California to pursue an adult film career.[1] She performed her first sex scene two days after her 22nd birthday.[1] In August 2002 she signed an exclusive one-year contract with Heatwave Entertainment, but the agreement ended in January 2003.[1] Rose later stated "We both just had different ideas for my career. What direction it should go and how it should go".[3] As of 2004, Rose was a co-host of the adult television show Spice Clips, broadcast by DirecTV.[3]
