In England a person selling intoxicating liquors has to be a licensed victualler (publican) under a justices licence, this licence enables the publican to lawfully sell beer, wines and spirits from his licenced premises, with an added "off-sales" licence he is permitted to sell beer, wines and spirits away from the licenced premises. This still leaves the matter of Health and Safety regulations which must be adhered to religously else people may become sick through your negligence of the Health and Safety regulations, the result being closure of your homebrewery, possible charges of negligence, lawsuits and of course revocation of your liquor licence.

Good question, in medieval times the castle was divided up into 6 parts (social structure):

  • Kings/ queens- ruled the whole castle and could demand anything of people bellow them
  • Barons- who worked directly for the king
  • Knights- who garded the castle to make sure no outsiders got in
  • Freeman- who lived life normally with normal jobs
  • Lords- Ruled a village or town for the king/queen
  • Villeins- whom the kings and queens hired to be slaves as did anyone else above them

I hope this info can help you!

Elizabeth Beheaded? No, Queen Elizabeth I was not beheaded. Her mother, Anne Boleyn, was beheaded on charges of adultery thought to have been by fabricated by Henry to make way for a third wife. Mary Queen of Scots was also beheaded during Elizabeth's reign, with or without the Queen's final approval. There has always been much speculation surrounding Elizabeth's death with natural causes, illness, and poisoning being cited.
