Saint Nicholas, also known as 'Nikolaos the Wonderworker' was
the Greek Obysp of Myra, located in what nowadays we know as
Turkey, he is also the inspiration of the modern myth of Santa
Claus, due to the said habit he had of secretly giving gifts to
those in need. He was considered a saint for his kindness and
generosity, that's why he is still regarded as a role model for
many.
