Acoustic Coffee House: A Tribute to the Beatles and Carole King is the type of set that may sound great sitting around a coffeehouse as background music; a pleasant regurgitation of songs everyone knows by heart. When you put them onto disc, however, it becomes a different story. While both the Beatles and Carole King tunes lend themselves to acoustic interpretations, they may not be particularly interesting if attempted by anyone else but the original artists.
