Review
This is an excellent compilation of Vinicius de Moraes containing beautiful songs like "Minha Namorada," "Samba em Prelúdio," "Berimbau," and "Samba da Benção." It constitutes a good and representative sample of this poet and singer's unique, grandfatherly warm brand of samba and bossa nova. If this compilation does lack anything, it is some of the famous compositions that de Moraes wrote together with Toquinho, one of his most regular songwriting partners.
