A Dog's Show (1977 to 1992)[1] was a New Zealand television series featuring sheepdog trials, presented by John Gordon. It screened regularly on Sunday at 6 pm, before the news. Although the last season aired in 1992, reruns continue to be shown on TVNZ 6 at 11 pm.

The theme music was an instrumental version of the Statler Brothers song Flowers on the Wall.[1]

In popular culture

In Drive By, the seventh episode of the HBO comedy series Flight of the Conchords, A Dog's Show is the first show on the tape of New Zealand TV shows that Murray received from his mother. Brett McKenzie has stated his he is a fan.[2]
