Achratlal Girdharlal High School is a Semi Grant High School located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. The school is part of the Ahmedabad Education Society and serves grades 08 through 10 [2]. However, most students enroll as early as Kindergarten from K.H. Modi Kindergarten [3], an affiliated school, then moving on to S. H. Krarawala Primary School (Eng Med) to take studies for grades 01 to 03 following to A.G & L.D Primary School. After which the students undergo High School studies at A.G High School (Eng Med) moving to G&D Parikh Higher Secondary School (Eng Med) for 10+2 (i.e. A level courses).
The Ahmedabad Education Society was established in 1935, when there was only one college- Gujarat College- established by the British Raj in existence with Arts and Science higher education faculties.
The leadership was taken by, Shri G V Mavlanker (The First Speaker of the Indian parliament), Shri Kasturbhai Lalbhai, Amrutlal Hargovandas and C C Gandhi (a legal luminary).
