Poker Guide:

A-Game

1) The highest stakes game available in a gambling establishment.

2) A player's best game in terms of quality of play.

SoundPoker Says: 1) The actual dollar value for A-game varies between different establishments. In general, expect to need a large bankroll to participate. The A-Game is the opposite of the Z-Game, which is the lowest stakes game available.

2) For example, a railbird watching a player on a huge rush would exclaim "He's playing his A-Game!"
